Eufemia, band formed in México City in the late 90's, the current lineup consist of Kike Vargas (guitar, vocals), Charly Cervantes (drums), Bob Martínez (bass) and Quiquesan (guitar).
Had their first album "EUFEMIA" released in 2004, for the independent label Discos Antídoto, soon after started an extense national promotion tour with strong presence on radio and tv on north, center and south America.
The great public acceptance paved the way so that in 2006 the band got to release their second album "COMPRESOR", with which the band becomes one of the more interesting rock bands in México.
Now in 2009 Eufemia releases "MOSQUITO", twelve new tracks in which without abandoning their style, the band explores new rithms and sounds, leaving on our hands an amasing musical cocktail that makes us travel from the garage - post grunge to their upbeat country - folk - rock.
Eufemia has played some of the most important venues like "Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez", "Palacio de los Deportes" of México City, "Teatro Metropolitan", "Lunario del Auditorio Nacional", "Salón 21", Hard Rock Live México City, among others, and has been on the lineup of some of the biggest festivals in Mexico like the "Rockarga" festival on the 2007 and 2008 editions, surprise appearance on the "Música para los dioses" festival on 2009, "Forza Fogoza" 2009, "Festival Xtremo" 2007, and recently played on the "Estadio Azteca" as part of the lineup on the "Snickers Urbania" festival 2009 in front of over 85,000 people.
